Giving Back to Our Community
UKFCU was established at the University of Kentucky in 1937, built on the core principle of "people helping people." As a proud community leader, we recognize that investing in charitable organizations creates meaningful opportunities to enhance the lives of our members, employees, and neighbors. We prioritize requests that align with our mission, vision, and core values, especially those that are reasonably located in and/or serve our geographic footprint. Together, we strive to move our community forward toward a brighter future.
Request Guidelines
At UK Federal Credit Union, the money we earn goes back to our members, and we strive to serve and give back to our community. See the following guidelines for how we consider charitable contributions. We would like to fulfill every request. However, as a financial institution with limited resources, we must be prudent in deciding where to allocate funds.
We may decline support to worthy organizations and programs, as well as organizations that we have previously supported as it may not continue in perpetuity. A declination does not reflect a negative appraisal of the organization or the value of its programs and services.
UKFCU is committed to making positive impact by sponsoring or donating to various entities within the communities we serve.
